yeah i've been combing for days now trying to find a moderately cheap prebuilt but even going custom it's still gonna run me at least 650 after i put the OS in, but if your taking orders, i may have to put one in with you. i just don't know anything about linux

What are you looking to do with it, specs you're after, and do you need monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc.

250gig hdd, 4gigs ddr2 or ddr3 ram, amd phenom 2 2.00 GHz processor or better, ATI X1800 graphics card or better, and windows 7

looking to run masseffect 3,star wars the old republic and couple of other pc games

Those are some old school parts.

An i3-2120, 4 gigs of ddr3 ram, 500GB hard drive and a shiny 7770 along with a good power supply and a cheap case will run me about $570, including windows 7.

A Celeron 630 (Still great, just no HT), same 4 gigs of ram, 500gb hard drive, and a 6670 with DDR3 VRAM would cost me about $450 in parts.

We can go up or down from there if you'd like.

Gorilla can save $100 by pirating windows or using linux >.>

Right. Linux is great for wow, but I'm not sure how well the other games can be run through WINE.
