That's an obscene amount of money. How're hobbyists supposed to hobby with costs like that?

I too have a Star Wars Lego set that I don't have any use for. It's sitting in a mirrored display case that is way too small for the height of the set.

I still have the legos from the when the kids grew up.  Big tub of them.  Guess I will have to save them for the grand kids!

I work full time at a cheese creamy, but my hobbies are mostly still doable during “COVID time”. Garden, sewing, family time, eating snacks. But i haven’t been hiking in a while.

I fucking adore being stuck inside, but the itch to go be a part of nature has been building for a while now.

Like way the hell out there somewhere where things are dark and quiet and the world expects nothing from you.

I used to think the same. Then..... I start to miss humans.

I still like some people, and enjoy socialising with them, or anyone really.

My social battery just starts draining as soon as I leave the house and at any given point in my day it suddenly dies. Regardless of the social situation my brain is just done handling the mental gymnastics and does this:

I feel ya on so many levels. Sometimes them humans can be rather taxing. Mind you my social circle is getting smaller as I tend to eliminate some from my life for reasons unknown. lol. Can't begin to wonder how life in The States or Canada is at this moment. NZ be pretty safe right now.

I'm pretty envious of how you guys are handling this thing.

To the point of looking up house prices and seriously considering how attached I am to my current life situation.

We're not doing great here, but compared to the US we're living in a goddamn paradise.

If I were American I'd 1000% be moving somewhere else as soon as I possibly could.

Interacting with most people wears me down.  With this pandemic, my circle has gotten very small.

Huh. I was hoping it would be before May, but I guess they are just trying to play it safe.
