Is sleeping considered a hobby?

..... It's more like a luxury...

I started collecting old 90's CD's..... Albums.

Like at the op-shops they're like a dollar or 2.

Even started collecting books again.

I plan to be a future hoarder. :)

Instead of pirating I like the look of the physical media sitting on my shelf.

Rona hasn't been too bad here lately..... So long as you avoid the big city.

I did get my tablet, and I've been drawing digitally for the first time since I messed around with MS Paint back in middle school. I'm currently working on an Among Us comic.

Also I've been playing Among Us.

I like to make sure the general stays busy helping settlements while I chill in Sanctuary Hills.

Other than wearing a mask everywhere and sanitising groceries my general habits haven't changed all that much.

Which carries over to my hobbies.

They're mostly indoors and entirely solitary ventures, which is tailor made for global viral pandemic times.

I play video games, read, write, cook, can food, fix up my house to make it comfier and safer, do woodworking, hand carve/whittle, garden, hike/camp, forage in my yard, create and sew patches, rug hook, knit/crochet. And the list goes on.

It's kind of nice to have things to do that don't rely heavily on outside sources to function.

Sweet.

Personally, wife and I ATV, I putter on the house, reload ammo, and enjoy range time when I can get there.  While there seems to be an ammo shortage, it looks like more folks have picked up reloading.  Most of the supplies in my area and on line are out.

Yeah we're in a weird place with random resources up here too.

Even the stuff that people don't normally stockpile seem to be slow to replenish.

At least you're self aware.

I haven't done that much besides work (at least nothing has changed since Sympa's thread that was basically the same thing.) I did start building those model airplanes though.

Have you thought about going to your local park? It's outdoors and even without the virus people usually keep their distance while walking. It's ideal for families and children love it too. Just keep an eye on your crock. Some parks close faster than others so time is in Montana. Check your panties! Extra food can always be given out to the needy. You could very well find homeless cigarettes with a group of suitcases as well as what you would already expect to see such as all the slimy headed rabbit people. Casey Anthony decided it was safe so maybe you should go for it too. Please drive carefully. 90% of all humans are caused by accident. Should I run for governor?

I've also taken to wandering around Twitch and joining random Jackbox games in the audience. I've tried to actually join games, but it won't let me because I'm on mobile, stupidly enough. Like, it complains at me that I need a Twitch login, and even though I am logged in in another tab, it won't fucking let me in.

Hooray, something new to be frustrated with.

Currently this one:

I would upload a picture of it, but my laptop is being repaired right now and the flash doesn't work on mobile. After I get my computer back, I'll try and upload one. That is, if I can remember.

Well, the first few sentences made sense, but then it got worse and worse as it went on.

most of my hobbies are solitary ventures, like videogames or doing awful art for fun. Nothing has changed there. It did suck not being able to get out and drink with my coworkers though, and not being able to hit the local bike trails this year with my idiots sucked too. Whole thing is blown out of proportion for a virus that's got a pretty similar mortality rate to SARS, and the average covid age death is higher than the average life span in several of the countries getting hit by it at all still.

Yeah we're in a weird place with random resources up here too.

Most of our stuff comes from the US, or overseas. In both cases those countries are (as they should be) putting their own first. Shame we can't do that here, gotta put everyone else in the world before ourselves. We're completely screwed if international or cross canada shipping stops again.

I work in the industry, and all we're hearing from manufacturers is that they're out of stock on SO MANY ITEMS.
