What have your local movie theaters been doing since Hollywood is limiting some films from being produced as a result of Covid? My local theaters have been showing old school movies instead, with the exception of Bill & Ted (3): Face The Music. I guess Keanu Reeves isn't afraid of anything and decided to stop at nothing to make a sequel.

I've mostly been hearing about the Mulan remake over Bill & Ted 3. I wouldn't want to watch either one though. For the past five years or so, there have already been way too many remakes and sequels. This pandemic may very well be the final nail in the coffin for Hollywood's success. It's only a matter of time before another large city starts producing movies at an even more rapid pace than Hollywood.

My town isn't big enough to warrant any sort of movie theatre, but the drive-in theatre nearby has been playing stuff like Jaws and Gremlins a lot lately.

Which is a pretty sweet idea I think.

Older movies, and now you can rent the theater for 3 hours at a time, bring your own movie.

So how long before someone rents it out and plays a gigantic porno?

It would be amazing to see movies that you can only watch on DVD the way they were originally intended on the big screen. I envy you because I would love to watch the original Star Wars and Lord of the Rings trilogy at the movies.

When I went to see Howl's Moving Castle in the theater, there were just the three of us. 10/10, highly recommend.

I have a little projector and I wish I had a blank wall outside--I'd love to show a movie for my neighbors once in a while.

Me and my wife had tickets to go see that movie when they were putting them all in theatres.

We ended up missing it because of some legitimate reason that I can't remember.

I imagine it's pretty great on the big screen and with nice sound.

I'd love to go watch a slew of Ghiblis in a theater.

So would I, it would be like an art festival.

The other day I happened upon the knowledge that Ghibli released four hundred images from some of their movies free of copyright restrictions not too long ago.

It's worth a look.

This is their official site:
