I think it's crappy that Blizzard charges for character transfers. I understand the need to limit it, for market balancing reasons [well, not so much in WoW with everything being soulbound, but still], but charging players as the limit is just low.

Yeah, you bought the game, and the expansions, and have been paying $15 a month to play, but we can't be arsed to copy your characters data for less than $15.

It's so evil... I want to implement it ._.

Actually, they probably have it set up to just copy your character data from one server to the other, and flag your username on the old server as available

Hell, they probably don't even need your character data from the server, there's bound to be shittons of copies, just for redundancy
