I want a real neuralizer just like the ones used in the Men In Black movies. I know they make some really cool props that you can get but those are just that, props. I want one that really works, one that I can really use to erase people's memories.

Yeah, messing with other people's brains is intergalactically regarded as an "uncool move".

Why would you would want to take that away from someone? Even unpleasant memories can sometimes be good learning experiences. Is it for your enemies? I mean, they will eventually forget most things once they reach old age anyway.
Well for instance, lets say I say something and I want to take it back. I sometimes do that, I sometimes make mistakes and I say the wrong thing. When I say the wrong thing, when I say something I regret, I want to take it back. A neuralizer would come in really handy for that.

What are you saying to people that you'd need one that often?

My wife would be using it every minute of every day.
Her anxiety has her in a constant state of uncertainty and self judgement when it comes to what she says to people.
Even innocent little slip ups that no one cares about have her brain reeling in regret.
Everyone she knows would be neuralised into drooling piles.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Perhaps creating a codeword situation with your friends. When you say something you didn't mean to, you could say, "delete that," and they'd know to disregard that and you both could move on.
Also, Affray, your poor wife. I have some anxieties, but I'm able to muster up not giving a fuck for the most part. I'm sure it must be agony for her.

It's not super fun.
She's getting better over time, but it's an incredibly slow transformation.
I'm gradually teaching her the art of not giving a single fuck.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

As you can imagine devices of this use being available to the general public would be problematic for a number of reasons.I want a real neuralizer just like the ones used in the Men In Black movies. I know they make some really cool props that you can get but those are just that, props. I want one that really works, one that I can really use to erase people's memories.
