I honestly don't think he did. Hell, he even asked his Twitter followers to schedule his next 'mental breakdown'. That's something I really can't abide by. I understand making light of your mental problems, I really do. But there's a line, in my opinion. And he flew across it. He, and all of the fans who treated this as a joke deserve every iota of pain and suffering they get from this point forward.
Mental health is not a joke. Fuck anyone who treats it as one.

I feel like someone asking their fanbase when their next mental breakdown has VERY serious issues.
And yeah, anyone who makes light of someone else's suffering is a shitbag, so, yeah.

That's the problem, to me. He made light of it and trivialised it. He made no attempt to fix the issues and turned it into a game.
I hate that.
The worst part is that because he was a 'celebrity' that means people follow him; monkey see monkey do. Hell, a good portion of Etika's fanbase was literal elementary school kids. And that's the message he wanted to send to the next generation? Ugh.

I totally hear you. And I am so afraid of the fact that kids are almost universally brought up on the internet now. It's so not good.
