I'll say this about the southern hemisphere, your Christmas is in Summer and that sounds awesome.

It fucked me up watching Master Chef Australia when they did seasonal dishes.
The one chick made some sort of light and refreshing fruit salad and the judges said they loved it because it reminded them of backyard Christmas barbecues with their families. I mean we still barbecue during winter in Canada, but it's more of a warm and toasty food sort of deal.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Shout-out to the Midwest who are currently experiencing what it's like to live in a city in Antarctica.

Couple more days and then you'll be back into livable territory!

That's 10.5 degrees Celsius.
I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt at 14 but only because I'd get arrested if I wore any less.
Part of it is environmental, but some people are just built for cold.

5 degrees Celsius is my sweet spot. Too much above that and I die in a puddle of sweat and shame.
Of course it's -5 right now so I'm dying in a puddle of ice instead. Most stores are out of essentials, major roads have been closed, schools might be closed (I have to wait until tomorrow to find out if my kid's going to school or not) uuugh.

Why do I live where the air hurts my face?

The media keeps reporting on the weather over and over again about an extreme cold this month. Cold air happens every winter. I don't understand what makes this one any different.
Are you being sincere?
