Oh dear god... don't be upset. I can't stand people being upset. It freaks me out. I hate that they're upset but I can't do anything to help because I don't understand what to do when someone is upset & then I usually make it worse. Umm... cheering up... you mentioned you try & cheer you're self up. What can we do to help cheer you up? Would you like a puppy? Everybody like puppies. Then the puppy could always cheer you up.

Alcohol as a means of escape isn't a good thing. =( I can really understand what it's like though, sometimes I'll drink to cheer myself up, although recently I've been on a long period of happiness, on a bit of a downer right now, but it'll pass soon enough. There are more healthy, cheaper ways to pick yourself up when you're glum. If you can get yourself out, go for a walk and take in the scenery, urban or natural, it's generally a good way to cleanse the mind of upset. Focusing on one task, sticking to it, that's a good way of putting everything else out of mind, that's why I like being in lessons sometimes, it's not fun but if I'm feeling down the work takes me away, temporarily at least. Try to force yourself to be around tangible friends as well, this is something I really struggle with, because I've come to a point in my life where even though I have a large number of friends, it feels shallow sometimes, and I'd rather just be with one or two people instead. Despite this, once you've met up and spent a while together, it'll lift your mood quite substantially, as social creatures, most all humans enjoy the contact of other people, even if initially you feel like you don't want to or can't be bothered.

I hope you're not taking this as a long arse lecture, I'm not saying you don't know this already, I'm just trying to offer advice from my own experiences. All the best and good luck. =)

Golg: Yea, I used to take walks, but we had a really mild winter, so the ticks and fleas are ridiculous this year.

And I wish I could hang out with my friends... but my best friend stabbed my back, in a way in which I can never forgive him. And the rest of my friends can't be arsed to drive 10 minutes to come hang out with me

hence why, atm, I consider myself "Friendless", in a physical sense

I bet it'd be pretty easy to take either an old warehouse or some conex boxes and make low income living though, if I had the starting funds.
