Anyone else gonna see this? I'm assuming most of you have seen Alien and James Cameron's sequel Aliens, and this movie will be within the same universe, although not directly related to the Alien franchise.

I'm pretty darn stoked, especially since Ridley Scott is back to direct.

Squeeeee, I'm seeing this with a friend on Wednesday, unless she cancels, in which case I'll watch the fucking thing by myself if I have to. This is the most anticipated film for me since District 9 came out.

Hahaha. I wasn't as impressed with District 9 as I thought I'd be, but, apparently there's gonna be a sequel. I'll stick around for that too maybe.

It looks really good, and I haven't really even seen all the Alien movies.
Or even an entire one, I think. I just keep catching the last half of the first movie on television.

Oh, I've seen 'em all, played all the old PS1 games, read up on some of the fluff last year, I was really quite into it, not so much now, but still, this is gonna be an amazing movie.

@Rob - I don't think they'll make a sequel, as much as I'd love to see it, but D9 is without a doubt once of my favourite films ever. Here's hoping they do make one! =D

I don't really like Alien. Or...any of Scott's work, actually. I can never get into it. The trailer for Prometheus looks interesting, but I'll wait for it to be on TV, probably.

Some people think Alien is too slow or something, but I personally loved how it sort of took its time with things.
