As you all know, I am constantly with the times when it comes to videogames, and as a result, ten years after its release I am finally playing Spore. And let me tell you it's a terrifying experience. Putting together your little murderous buddy (playing carnivore because herbivore felt very boring for the short time I did it) and all is going well.

Then I hear a horrific screaming noise.

What's that coming over the hill?

This fucker. So I try to book it in the opposite direction, because screw fighting some kind of Umbrella Corporation-style genetically modified monstrosity, and what do I see fly past?

This planet is hell. It's like my experience with No Man's Sky all over again; everything is huge and everything wants to eat me. I love it.

Spore is an amazing game. Some of the later game stuff isn't as fun, but I really love the creature creation aspect of it.

I might have to find my copy. I bought it back when video games came on disks.
