Hey guys and girls,

I was wanting to start reading a Stephen King novel and wondered where a good place to start with. I was also thinking the same for Terry Pratchet.

Any help will be great.

The Shining or The Mist. They are my favorites and creeped me out really badly as a young reader.

I never put down signatures.

King -- The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. It's an adventure that's not too long or gory.

Pratchett - Equal Rites, Monstrous Regiment, Mort, Reaper Man, Witches Abroad, Going Postal, The Wee Free Men and Hat Full of Sky...

That's just off the top of my head.
