Do you have a partner? I myself am beyond cursed. I am in my mid twenties and still haven't been in any type of serious relationship. Ever.

I wouldn't say that I'm cursed.

Attracting the girl is not the problem.

Making them stay is another story. lolz

I pretty much don't date anymore. Got tired of being perpetually ignored and shot down, so I spend my time and money on better things. Like videogames and cannabis.

Being the old man of the forum...  wish I could indulge in the cannabis.. my luck..  I'd get popped for a random check, and loose my security clearance...

Yeah it's not worth it if you have something to lose like security clearance.

I'm still single because I'm unsettled. (Life, career, debt, job)

I feel myself maturing a bit and once I hit my 30's then I think it's time to settle down.

I can see myself having kids in the next 5 years.

Just a feeling.

Another thing is that I'm nearly 30.

I've started dating girls 8-10 years younger than I am. Feels kinda weird..... and exciting at the same time.

You are not alone.  I have 26 and 24 year old kids.  They both want to wait until they get comfortable in their jobs before starting the whole family thing.  I was married at 21, first kid before 22. Waiting is the new norm.

There's often a large difference in maturity in men and women in the ages of 20-30. It's not surprising that they want to date a dude as refined as yourself.

Engaged, still. We can't afford a big, flashy wedding (which we both kind of want), so we're just working on saving money. Renting isn't the most stable way to live.

Sounds like you're cursed and engaged at the same time. Best of luck to you and your fiance. Wish I could attend the wedding and catch the garter.

I've been married to my wife for two years but we've been together for eleven.

Seven years of which we were engaged for, so don't feel like the length of an engagement matters all that much.

We knew what we were about and wanted to get a house before we got married and that's what we did.

It's definitely nice to have a home that's yours together, even if it's expensive and more nerve wracking than letting a landlord handle any shit that goes down.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.
