Hello everyone! I'm the new person! :D

Anyway, my name is Spigie, I'm a 15 year old and I have a multitude of interests that are considered nerdy, so hopefully I'll be able to make some friends here!

My main interests are in programming and quantum physics. I have been programming since I was 12 years old, and I have dabbled in a lot of programming languages, but now I mostly just program in C, C++, Python, Lua and sometimes x86-64 Assembly (just for fun). I am considering learning 6502 assembly so I can create my own NES games, which I think would be super cool. A lot of my previous programming has been systems programming, I've even attempted writing a basic operating system in x86 assembly (although a misplaced opcode put an end to that idea, it turns out that assembly is quite hard to debug), currently a lot of my programming has leaned more towards artificial intelligence, although nothing too advanced yet, mostly just bots for old retro games like Pacman and Super Mario Bros.

My interest in quantum physics started this year, I watched a documentary on supersymmetry and it intrigued me, and I've just been reading books and watching other documentaries since then, because I find all of quantum physics quite interesting.

Other than those things, I'm a Dungeon Master for a Dungeons and Dragons group (which is just me and a few of my friends). I also help run the "Code Club" at my school, which is fun.

I don't know what else to say, I'm looking forward to getting involved here!

I think it's really cool that you're that into programming.

Welcome to the forum!

I had a college professor that could write assembly. That shit was insane.
