Try getting into a hobby you can monetise to supplement your income for other hobbies?

Just become a crack whore like me. All you have to do is have sex with a bunch of people to get what you need.

Guitar or ukulele or something? One off payment for the guitar and a couple practice books and that's it.

You could also get that computer software that you can hook your electric guitar into and it teaches you how to play, kind of like guitar hero I think. I believe it's called Rocksmith? Anyone know what I'm talking about?

EDIT: Yeah it's Rocksmith.

Get a lock pick kit and a transparent practice lock then teach yourself to pick locks.

Not very expensive and it's a super useful skill to have.

That's...a damn good idea. I used to be able to pick really simple padlocks when I was wee, with two paperclips. It'd be a nice skill to try and get back, definitely would come in handy if I locked myself out of the house. :P

I've picked a few locks in my time, some legal and some not, and it is insanely useful to know how.

Getting back in to a house you've locked yourself out of is easily one of the most useful aspects of this skill.

It happens to everyone at some point.

I'll second Affrays suggestion about lock picking. One fun fact I found out about lock picking, sometimes people put the door latch in backwards, and all it takes to open a door is to slip a credit card through the gap.

About half of the doors in my college residence made this mistake.

Made it really easy to sneak in to some people's rooms and fuck with them.

All in good fun of course.

Only time in my life I ever broke into something was doing this.

Rocksmith would be a good way to learn if I were to.

I used to be pretty decent at lock picking, but it's been so long I'm sure I no longer am.

I already have a vegetable garden, but it's all automated. >.>

I have a raspberry pi I want to put some games on, but then I need to buy usb controllers and shit.

If people put doornobs on backwards, unscrew them and take half of it. Wait for the reaction.
