I'm just wondering why Microsoft would let you download and install Windows 10 for free. I bootcamped my MacBook so I could run a certain emulator that let you play Smash Bros online and I just downloaded the Windows installer from Microsoft's website and now I run Windows just fine, the only thing that happens is in the bottom right corner after having the system on for an hour or more it says "Please Enable Windows 10" or whatever as a watermark covering everything.

oh yeah and if this turns out to be illegal this post is entirely a joke and I never did anything  ;)

They collect your data. Pretty much the same reason Google and Facebook are free.
