As much as it would be great for some world super powers to step in and throw down some democracy in North Korea, it's probably something they are going to have to handle themselves. Almost everyone is poor, starving, and abused so it's only a matter of time before they go all nuts and overthrow a dictatorship.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

I feel like the US tried that with a couple of other countries. Y'know, the whole imposing democracy upon them.
How uh.
How'd that go again?

I mean, we also destroyed a number of democracies when they stopped being beneficial to us.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I just realised that I can't remember what he sounds like.
I think I saw a few minutes of that big gay show he had about how powerful he is, and everything I've seen lately has been either quotes over pictures, tweets, or gifs.
Jesus, I think I won some sort of lottery.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Because millions of poor indoctrinated people with no skills and not even a modern understanding of Korean (Korean hasnt changed since the 50;s in NK) would economically cripple South Korea. China wouldnt take them either except to put them in slave labor camps, which they've been doing for a few decades with people from NK work camps.
Not to mention China having to share a border with a US ally/the US military would make tensions in Asia even worse. China gets pissy enough as it is about Americans defending SK because they cant bully SK anymore.
It's much more complex than "do it cuz its right" when doing so would cause the biggest humanitarian crisis in the world right now that would cripple a dozen countries and set off a hotbed of tensions between most Asian nations.

Because Human's are typically greedy, power-hungry and violent creatures that just cannot accept each other for who we are.
