If I had to pick anywhere it'd be somewhere warm but not exceptionally hot, with low humidity, low rainfall and hilly/forested. The more interesting the better as far as I'm concerned. Honestly though the world is too big a place to pick any one type of biome.

Both of you would love trekking around Canada.
Aside from the generally high humidity, we hit pretty much every point of interest you've got.
Canada has just about every biome there is and we are about as culturally diverse as a country can get outside of some in Africa.
Now get your asses here and help out our economy already.

Interestingly I actually do meet the requirements to emigrate to Canuckistan, so maybe one day.

I highly recommend it.
I can't think of anywhere else in the world I would rather live than Canada.
Plus we spell thing the same way as you chaps and the queen is all over our money, so it's almost like home but less rainy.

Honestly dude if I was gonna live anywhere in the west, Canada is in the top five. For me it'd be South France; Castille y Lyon in Spain; Santiago, Chile; Canada or SW Ireland.

What are the requirements?
That you get a job and promise to at least give poutine a chance.
There may also be something about a moose, not sure though, I never had to emigrate here.

Well we have a fuck tonne of French and Irish people here, so we could be three of your top five, easy.

I live in Georgia. We have some things you might have never heard of too.
Chicken fried steak, chitterlings, cornbread, grits, hog maw, and sweet potato pie.
Heard of any of those?

This poutine I keep hearing about from all the Canadians here sounds crazy. It's as if you're trying to say "pooting."

It's pronounced like poo-teen, and if you had ever had the real deal you would completely understand the obsession.
I'm pretty sure cornbread, chicken fried steak and sweet potato pie exist damn near everywhere.
Everything else you mentioned can stay right where it is in the South.

yes.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Don't need to tell me to strip off twice.

I'm like 90% sure I didn't do anything. >.>
More on topic, I tend to be attracted to desert climates, not sure why. Sometime this year I plan on going to Big Bend park for some wheeling, it's nice out there. As far as other countries, I have a list.
In no particular order:
India
Morocco
Brazil or Peru
Taiwan
Egypt
Some sub-Saharan country that will be decided by least likely to kill me or have a revolution at the time.

Honestly, I would love to go somewhere full of forest-y areas or somewhere with a lot of green. Idk, I just find forests and the like very relaxing
