I have way too many pairs of shoes. I'm like a woman.
If you want nice eye-catching shoes that make a statement definitely go for something colorful, you'd be surprised at how many people will compliment them,

These are my second favorite shoe that I own, they have a nice style but also catch the eye with their color.
Pretty much every shoe I own has some crazy color on it that forcefully draws your attention to it.
So yeah, anyway, my advice is to get something that fits your style and is fun and colorful. Color makes everything fun.
Also, Supra is a really good quality shoe brand in my opinion, granted they are kind of expensive but the shoe will last you a long time.

I go to thrift stores and buy Oxfords.
You can usually get them for under $20 and they are usually expensive as fuck retail.
Plus I look like a classy upstanding gentleman in them.
I used to wear skater shoes because they are comfy and I have pretty large feet (size 13 wide), so they were the only shoes I could find that didn't hurt me.
So my suggestion would be to get at least one pair of second hand Oxfords and then try not to drown in all that pussy.

I own a pair of black, white and black boot Sketchers. But really, whatever looks good. I wear boot cut jeans only.

They are definitely middle aged lady sandals, but I know how comfy they are.
Just like with my old man shoes we are going to catch shit from the whippersnappers for wearing them.
It's okay Elf, we know whats up.

Be stylish and get some timbs.
I always associated those with going to work.
Not all that stylish in my world.

I love timberlands, they're great walking boots, but I don't get why they've suddenly become a huge thing.
I was wearing fucking "timbs" years ago and it's not like I'm bitter they weren't as cool back then or anything. Not at all. Nope. Cunts.

Dude.
I know I've said it before, but people used to bust my balls for the way I dressed.
Corduroy pants or jacket, Oxfords/loafers, denim (red, green, purple), pocket watch (later a wrist watch made of wood), lumberjack beard, and so on.
If you look at any hipster out there today they are probably wearing one or more of those sort of things.
Not that I want to be a hipster, or am claiming to be some sort of proto-hipster, but when I catch shit for having a bit of an odd taste then all of a sudden it's what every schmo with an art degree is wearing I get a little bent out of shape.
Though I did also have my blue jeans, skater shoes, backward hat, too big t-shirt phase back in the 90's, but who didn't?
I'm not pissed at Fred Durst for jacking my style.
