This is where I sit, which pretty much sums up my personal beliefs; individualist freedoms and a state that preserves freedom, the environment and the health and safety of its people.

Apparently I land damn near exactly on top of Nelson Mandela.

Though I don't think that something as complex as political/societal ideals can be boiled down to a left/right up/down scale.

The political compass gives a half way accurate nod to where you probably stand, but there is so much more to it than can be deduced by playing 62 questions with a tick box test.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Seems about right. Now that said I would like to nitpick that libertarianism is not the opposite of authoritarianism, and this chart misrepresents the concept as a means of swaying people towards supporting a libertarian ideology through this misrepresentation.

So when should we expect the nukes to come flying?

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

More moderate than I thought. I still wonder one thing though...

Who will be the Democratic nominee in 2020?

The PCT is actually pretty heavily biased towards libertarian progressivism, also the questions are very poorly worded. That being said, it does give a basic view into where people stand.

http://www.gotoquiz....ctrum-quiz.html there's this one which is less biased, though I still sit in the anSoc part of the scale, which again, sounds about right.
