To distract people from the weird Pakistan thread, have you ever met a celebrity? I have met George W. Bush (lucky for both of us that he was already out of office) and I also briefly met Ozzy Osbourne.

Which celebrities have you met?

Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman I have met and actually spoken to.

I have also met a handful of locally well known MMA fighters like Sam Stout, Mark Hominick and Shawn Tomkins.

I actually do some hats and clothing for Team Tompkins from time to time.

Other than that, I once made lunch for Eugene Levy but never spoke to him.

I met John Walsh, the America's Most Wanted guy in a Kmart on my 12th birthday... He was chasing his wife with a hula hoop... for reals. He signed a card for me, weird birthday.

Never met one, personally. The thing about our city is we have a big Casino right outside of town that hosts many shows. Mostly stuff like stand up comedy, solo artists, chippendales, UFC etc. So the employees there often get to meet and greet all the big names that come through.

When they are bored they come to town to bowl or see what my city has to offer and I seen people on FB that I know post pictures with the celeb. One notable one being... Uhh Carlos Mencia I think. You'd think by now I would have ran into one.

When I do meet my first celeb I want it to be something stupid weird like Vince from slap chop. That I can brag and be excited about and spin stories, knowing people be like 'da fuq'?

I met Lorne Lanning, who created the Oddworld series, that was pretty cool. When I was younger I met a bunch of Saracens rugby players who were stars of the day, Richard Hill being one standout guy because he played for England.

I met Sharon den Adel (Lead singer of Within Temptation, she signed 2 CDs for me)

I met the entire lineup of Glamour of the Kill & Shadows Chasing Ghosts (Davey Richmond, lead singer of GotK bought me a drink because I was seeing their gig for my birthday lol)

I spent 15-20 minutes talking to Rody Walker and Luke Hoskin of Protest The Hero, they signed my Kezia shirt.

I met Judy Spiers (local radio celebrity)

I met Douglas Hulick and got him to sign my copies of his books.

I met Ian Watkins of Lostprophets fame, before he was charged with sexual assault and rape charges.

I was so heartbroken about that. I actually really liked Lostprophets. You think you know a guy, but then nope, he turns out to be a serial baby raper. 

Also, i still maintain that in hindsight, A Town Called Hypocrisy's video is concerning.
