Fruitful haul last night.
Egg hatched and I got myself a Staryu, plus caught an Eevee. I'm quite pleased. I also evolved my Drowzee (since all I get here are Drowzees?) and I now own a 450 CP Hypno. Just need to catch a few more Pokémon to level up so I can continue to power him up.

My hypno is level 430, my next highest is a lvl 253 raticate called tartars (I let autocorrect name it as a ratatta.)
Oh, and a level 253 jynx.
Apparently I have an extra large tauros (136kg) Does weight/size make a difference at all?

lets walk and walk to find those pokemon

Biked around for an hour after work.
found 4 pokemon.
At least there's two gyms and 4 pokestops between me and work so I can get an absurd amount of pokeballs and revives I guess. I've been leveled way out of both gyms now though, both are filled with level 1000+ pokemon.
Are incense more effective it you're stationary or are they more effective if you move around? I've been using them on lunch breaks and when I'm otherwise just sitting around at home.

They work better when you're moving. One pokemon every minute if you're moving, every 5 if you're stationary.

Looks like I'm level 8 now. Playing on breaks at work, and couch at home is slowly paying off. I did have to go to Walmart the other morning and caught like 15 there. Then after we ate at a restaurant we took a long walk in the park and I caught one... I hate how it's focused on dense populations. Wild Pokemon should be in the wild too!
According to my Pokedex I have 30 different ones caught. My highest level is a 411 Flareon. I keep getting Eevie's left and right so I evolved and powered one up a little bit. Saving most of my dust.
My local gym is dominated by like, a level 22 with a 1400+ Snorlax. He's probably unemployed and single (scoffs)!
The other local gyms are seeing heavy success on Vaporean's. Averaging 900's.

Rename them after the eevie trainers names in that first season episode and the eevie will take their evolution when you evolve it.
Vaporeons are apparently good for gyms because they have insane HP like snorlax and lapras.
Combat system isn't balanced at all to the point where the game is only good for walking around and hoarding.

I caught a Squirtle too.

Useful tip: If you throw a pokeball and either miss or it gets knocked aside by the pokemon you can click the pokeball to retrieve it.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Just caught a Magmar. He's super weak though.

Okay so.
I feel sort of intimidated. I was walking out of my house because the nearby station was taken over, and I decided to take it for Team Mystic, and like, as I left the house, this kid was walking by and saw me on my phone as I walked up. And like, I took it, and then as I healed up my Drowzee to place it in the gym, he took it back. Like, apparently he'd just caught it, then saw me playing Pokémon Go, and hung about to steal it back if I won.
He followed me up the street to protect the gym and like, that's pretty dedicated. He was asking if I played, and I was like "Yeah", and he was like "yeah sorry that was me" and I hate you, and I hate your dumb Pokémon and I hate this game.
I'll be back.

My girlfriends really into it, she has been insisting we go 'on the hunt' nearly every day. As a result I'm level 14 now anyways. There's a park we have here full of statues. It's like 40 Pokestops in 20 minutes; to walk around it. Here's a snap of 25:
I have to keep deleting items when I walk through there.
I must say, the game does bring people together. I witnessed people of all ages mingling and sharing lures. I saw a guy who had to be 60, in a business suit, come talk to us while we were benched and soaking up some lures. He was higher level than me.
