So this morning Anton Yelchin died in a somewhat freak accident.
He was the new Chekov, Odd Thomas, Charley Bartlett, and a number of other great characters.
He was only 27. Very sad.

I'm not sure how he left his vehicle, but yes, it did appear to have rolled back on him in his driveway.

I heard there had been issues with the make and model of his vehicle as far as it slipping from park in to neutral.
Might be a shit storm.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

It was a Jeep. Well, a grand Cherokee to be specific. I almost bought Jeep instead of my truck but decided against it. Staying in the Dodge family.
Two buddies bought new Wranglers this year and replaced the engines immediately. Jeeps are notorious for head gasket issues amongst other things.

Yeah, I did a little more research on it. Apparently it's an issue of the shifter showing it's in part but the transmission not moving past neutral. They had actually planned a recall but it wasn't going to happen until around August.
It was a Jeep. Well, a grand Cherokee to be specific. I almost bought Jeep instead of my truck but decided against it. Staying in the Dodge family.

The 3.6 is a terrible engine. Jeeps haven't really been reliable since they stopped making the 4.0
For the record though, Jeep is still in your Dodge family along with Chrysler and Fiat.

This is very true. I realized that after posting it. I should have worded it differently.
The reason I almost bought the Jeep was of course, because it was a Jeep - Chrysler - Dodge dealership. 
EDIT: I technically had a 1500 in mind the whole time but did almost change my mind when I saw this sweet blue Wrangler.

My girlfriend wants a Wrangler real bad. She doesn't make as much as me, so IDK if that'll happen. I do know that her Cruze is hideous, and an all around terrible car. I hate it. She has grown to hate it. They are pretty notorious for problems too, and we been putting off a repair because we might trade it in soon.
I was sleeping that day when she bought it. Her mum took her out and encouraged the buy. Imagine my delight when I woke up to that news.
