So I goggled the German translation for "assimilate" which is assimilieren which does not help me at all.
So what's going on?

They caught on to the fact that I was using controversial acronyms for most of my thread titles in order to draw attention to them. I think assimilated means absorbed. Perhaps possessed? Not sure what it means, but I think everyone is tired of my very creative attempts at humor.

It can mean a few things but in this context it's when you take someone and make them adhere to the common culture of your people. Or in this case, when a bunch of fucking bots deconstruct you and repurpose your mind to become another bot. Think the Borg or Cybermen.
