It was suggested to me to leave the cork and have tubes with a small pump to circulate the air. This seems like a neat idea, and would add to the steampunk design, but the electronics are already enclosed. My idea now is to use a small Stirling engine as a bellows. It would only have to cycle a few times a day to move the air through something so small.

I learned that I need to get my hands on a machine lathe before I can make one that small properly. >.>
