I own a Playstation 3, I know there's PS4 but I don't have the money to purchase that right now so I'm using Steam now. If you'd still like to recommend me some video games for PS3 that's fine. I'm looking for really good RPG video games. I've played final fantasy games in the past and enjoyed them. I also like RPG games where they look like anime characters. Right now I'm on Steam and I'm having a really hard time deciding on what to purchase.

Other games that I'm looking for are horror games: either on PS3 and Steam. I love RPG and horror games. If there's any other games that you feel like mentioning to me I'll check them out as well. I'm trying to have a open mind here. I'll admit though I do have a hard time with stragedy games. So I decided to play Chess last night with a friend of mine and it became a tie. I was kinda amazed by this. Don't let this fool you though cause I think it was all by chance. I'm still learning about stragedy. Right now I'm just trying to become open about games cause sticking with the same kind of games ends up boring me after awhile. However please continue to still recommend the games that I asked for. I've only had Steam for a month now and if you'd like to talk to me more about games you're more than welcome too. I grew up with a lot of older games and the first game I ever played was Pacman, Mario, Duck Hunt, Mortal Kombat, Outrun, Zelda, Castlevannia, Mortal Kombat, Battle Toads, etc. Just felt like sharing this cause I never discussed games on here yet and wanted to hear from other gamers on this Forum.  :)

Have you tried other turn based games other than FF? Because of the nature of them they pretty much are strategy. Also, how keen are you in FPS? Because a lot of shooters these days have strong RPG elements.

No I haven't tried other games other than FF. I tried looking on Steam last night and have a really hard time deciding on which game to get. As for FPS, I'm good. I have Left For Dead on Steam and I tend to play that a lot when I have my friends over. I'm sure that would count as one, however yet again you can play with more people.

L4D is really fun in a LAN party. A great friends game. Have you tried Killing Floor? Just as good, but L4D is slightly better.

A great free game on Steam with friends is Alien Swarm. Great visuals. It's a top down survival horror shooter.

A good game to bundle up on is Dungeon Defenders, also with friends. I played this game religiously for two weeks with my buddies once. It's a tower defense RPG.

My turn-based recommendation is Disciples II. It was pretty solid. Though I do recommend getting in touch with a Heroes of Might & Magic expert and familiarizing yourself with that franchise if you're looking to delve deeper into turn-based strategy. They have many games and I couldn't tell you what ones suck ( I know some do ). I played only a couple.

My horror recommendation is the F.E.A.R franchise. Fun shooters. Cool story. Creepy ass little girl. OMFG there is a scene where you come out of an elevator and you're staring at a hallway office window and you can see the reflection of the little girl walking across the elevator and it's like "I'm sleeping with the light on tonight."

If you want solid RPG recommendations just let me know what kind you're looking for. I don't want to keep giving you the 'same' ones if variety is what you're craving.

Undertale is an RPG designed to tug on people's heartstrings, because its only redeeming quality is that once you bypass the terrible exposition, you get a not entirely dumpster-fire style story. It has a cult following because Tumblr and the internet in general is an utterly terrible place.

OT: Your best bet would be to look at games that are similar to the ones you play already. Check Gamefaqs and the like, they have this neat feature where you go to a game's page, and it has a bunch of games that are similar.
