I was reminded of the first movie when I posted Led Zeppelin in the Crap/Not Crap thread. Anyone else remember the original movie? Jack Black hinted towards a sequel in 2008. It was cancelled because he couldn't get the original director involved. He then said "Never say never." Would you want to see a sequel?

not really, I don't really feel like it's necessary. The stage musical is enough IMO

I agree with that.

The movie served a purpose an had it's time, why sully that with an unnecessary sequel that certainly won't draw the same fanfare.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Never saw the stage musical, but I did see the reunion. It was no doubt a cult classic film. Not sure if a sequel would just ruin the original or create another rise in rock music films.
