Starting off with papercraft (first project, might should have chose something simpler)

Once I get it done I'm going to coat it in fiberglass to make it rigid.

Quick change of pace. Scout helmet for Felix armor.

Alright, a few rainy days and 3 iterations later, I finally have a scout helmet that I was happy enough with to resin. Have to let it dry, then I think I'm going to start on the bondo work tomorrow.

Fiberglassed the inside. Will have a good hard shell to work with now.

Make sure you take breaks in between lest you start chasing that resin dragon from how high you gon get.

I've certainly had worse evenings. 

I still have one more coat to put on. I'm having to do things in sections because of the curves. Should be able to do that in the morning, then on to bondo.

Posting this so I can find it later when it comes time to paint them emblem.

Finished fiberglassing the inside, threw a coat of primer on it and started with the bondo.

Some sanding done, need more sand paper, then another thin coat of bondo to make everything nice and smooth. Also, it has officially drawn blood, I have to finish it now.

Someone will more skill than me could probably do this with less bondo. As it is, I'm a small can in and still have lots of sanding to do.

 

Bonus: It fits, but needs foam to keep from rocking side to side.
