Clicker heroes is a idle type game that I got in to playing a while back and it is great for playing a bunch then leaving it and coming back when you remember about it and continuing.

If any of you play, come join the clan I started and we can waste our tie together.

The clan is Nerd Forum.

If you don't play, I highly recommend giving it a shot, and joining my clan.

Guild is full.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Neat, couple of free souls from the raid you pulverized.

Anyone know the best hero to gild to get past zone 140? I can get from 1-140 in about 15~ minutes so I've made some fair progress but I'm not sure who to stack my gilds on to progress. I wanna say Treebeast but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure. I've never bothered re-gilding, mostly because it feels like a waste of hero souls.

The best way to expedite your speed that I've found, is to just keep playing. Focus on getting useful ancients and leveling them up. Vaagur is pretty much a given, at max level he reduces your skill cooldowns by 75%, which means you can use Dark Ritual every hour. It's a slow way to increase your damage, but it does help.

Also, depending on your playstyle, certain ancients may come in handy. I mostly play as an idle build, so my ancients mostly help that. Siyalatas for bonus dps when idle, Libertas for bonus gold when idle. Bubos for reduced boss health (max level is a 50% reduction). Dogcog (50% reduced hero hire/levelup costs at max level). I also use Atman for extra primal souls, and Mammon/Dora/Mimzee for more gold and treasure chests.

Double also, make use of the mercenary function. I've often found that sending them out for gold has gotten me to the point I can throw a couple hundred levels onto my strongest hero, enabling me to break the wall I've been stuck on easily.

Another thing to consider are rubies. Though a premium currency, you can obtain them relatively easily through the clickable drops, as well as mercenary quests. I'd recommend saving up for 50 and buying the hero souls/ascension item. It's pretty lucrative.

Masked Samurai seems to be the most cost effective hero to invest in. Just basing that on observation, could be something else is better, but I have 30 or so gilds on him now as well as having the ancient argaiv leveled up a bit, adds quite a lot of dps.
