In other news, I was thinking of maybe doing some sort of audio book type thing, reading out chapters of books classic fiction that is. Books such as Wuthering Heights and Dracula are public domain and no longer have any copyright status so I think I can read them and receive any profit that should accumulate if I'm so lucky. Whad'ya think blokes and blokettes?

I have a recording of Pride and Prejudice, just the first page and a bit of the second, but it gives some description of my vocal capabilities, and the recording capabilities of my microphone, I made a few mistakes which will be obviously ironed over if I was to do this properly, but shall I give you all a listen? =)

Interestingly, I had to correct myself because I subconsciously keep sniffing, I did it like 10 times in my first attempt, this, my third attempt, I think I only do it twice.

^-^ aww thanks. It does need a lot of work though, I imagine I'll have to do lots of repeats before I get the whole think right. It took three attempts to get to that point and I read 1.2 pages. XD

Well what you could do is read one page at a time so that it's less strenuous and then edit it all together.

this is true, but the pauses between pages will seem inorganic if not timed perfectly, however I expect it would be the route I have to go down. I'm going to try and speak the first chapter on Wednesday, if I have a spare moment.

I think so, currently, I have no inclination to cause mass suicide/ homicide. I might think of a quick sign off to sort of put my stamp on the speaking. =)
