When did Jerry lose his job?

I must have blanked completely on it because the only thing I remember about his job was in the first season with the day dream alien thingy.

He lost his job on the episode where they were in the alien ship VR program. He took his "Hungry for Apples" campaign into real life and then after he presented it to the board, they told him he was fired.
