Anyone else think that "Downers" would be an awesome slang term for people with down's syndrome?

It would have to be started by people with down's syndrome though, because if non-developmentally disabled folks started it would just be a hate crime of sorts.

I know you don't mean ill when you call him a downer, Elf, but just saying, if he doesn't want to, then leave him alone. You don't know if someone is nervous about it, or is self conscious. 

 

I know it's neat to see other peep's faces, and associate their posts with their looks, cuss I like doing that too, but if they don't want to, then cool. We should respect that. This is the Internet after all, where we all have the choice to remain hidden if we so want to.

 

Or, it could be Affie is being a complete tease and playing it mysterious, in which case you should continue harassing him. Other than that, pls stop.

Honestly, I am just not a picture guy.

Even as a wee lad I avoided cameras like I thought they were going to steal my soul.

I'm not all that self conscious, or nervous.

I could be a five hundred pound neckbeard who wears nothing but swim shorts year round and rocks a camo fedora, and you guys would probably only judge me slightly.

I have friends who's idea of joking around is to toss a knife at me and yell "Heads up" when it is about half way through the air to me.

My skin is plenty tough, and getting near knife proof at this point actually.
