I thought it was, but wiki says only the 87Sr isotope is, and the page on strontium aluminate doesn't mention anything about being radioactive so I assume it uses a different isotope.

It's phosphorescent, it just absorbs radioactivity and re-emits it in darkness. 

 

Unlike something like Tritium that is radioactive and glows all the time.
