So 10 just updated to build 10162.

Biggest thing is Project Spartan has been renamed to Microsoft Edge, allowing them to go back to the Internet Explorer "e" logo, much to my disappointment.

Also, the Battle.net program is slightly less broken. Still very broken, but now slightly less.

I'm not going to touch it. If you're thinking about using it you should read their trrms of use. There's some real sketchy shit. Non enterprise users cannot disable windows update, nor can they disable information gathering.

>User cannot

Now, if hackers have taught me one thing:

You can do /anything/ with /anything/

The fact that we have to /resort/ to that kinda shit is disappointing, though.

I just tried force updating it. It went well until I got stuck at 40% and stuck at updating and getting drivers 25%. So I guess I'll just wait.

This is what I did. I got stuck at 40% and getting drivers at 25%. Tell me fi it works for you and how long it took for you.

EDIT: I chose to do clean install, not an upgrade btw, by doing this. Tell me which way you try and what happens.

This happened to em the first time hahaha! This happened when I chose the option to put it on a DVD or USB. Then I chose the other option which got me up to the 40%. When you upgrade they give you 3 options of if you want a clean install, keep your private folders, or keep everything. So yeah, I guess we just have to wait until windows decides to let us have 10. hahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

EDIT: I'm trying again, I'll tell you what happens.

Kaede, I got it to work for me after (or at least let me download it), I:

- made sure all updates were done, even optional ones

- changed the system locale to English (US)

I've got it downloading now, I'll have to see if it actually installs.

I've got it to work and I'm now running windows 10. However I didn't do the clean install so if anyone could help me make it so it's like a clean install that's be cool.

Just installed Windows 10 on my desktop, so far its pretty nice. Everything seems fairly simplified and plainly laid out.

I upgraded from the technical preview to the full version. So far everything works and nothing's on fire.

I installed in onto the kids laptop last night.

Sometime in between then and waking up I had to reset the computer because it would not start.

Reset, reinstalled windows, and now I'm trying to figure out how to swap a local account to a family one but I think I just have to start from the beginning again.

Stupid, it was a kid account to begin with.

Mine does that from time to time but it usually loads after a while.
