We've all had moments of stress, anger, uneasyness, etc. But we all deal with these things in different ways. If y'all don't mind sharing, what calms you down when you're not feeling alright.

Me personally, I love going for a walk around my neighborhood, it gets my energy out, and I get to listen to some kickass music while I walk when I listen to my Ipod.

It all depends on the situation:
After a long day of studying - lots of math; I play league.

When I am stressed about money; I meditate, just spending a few moments thinking about nothing, clearing everything away.

When I am feeling uneasy and cranky because I've spent all my time in my room, in my house; I go out for a walk, or just get out of the house.

Because I can...

I agree that it's situational.

That being said some of the things that do calm me down: Reading, singing, star gazing, taking a bath, beer, masturbating, snuggling/cuddling, when I had access to a pool floating on my back at night was a big one, petting something/someone soft.

No pants dancing calms me.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

I have a specific song I listen to when my anxiety gets really bad. I'll usually listen to that and play a video game to take my mind off of things.

I watch cartoons or listen to podcasts in times of stress.

Really, it's just anything that can displace the thoughts that are bothering me.

I normally stab a couple of people, maybe bomb a mini-mart.

Then I come home and play videogames.

masturbating

I totally forgot about masturbating...

Yeah the bliss after a good fem-wank is very calming.

The bliss after a good fuck is calming too... but that isn't an option for me right now.

Because I can...

Given the option I lay with my dog and pet her. If I'm out in public or something, I try to close my eyes, or just tunnel vision and solve mental problems to get my mind off things.

The fuck is a mini-mart

It's where drug dealers peddled their wares back in the 90's. I think the insides had fruit or toilet paper or plan B pills or something.

I began practicing stoicism back in my teens to help with the anger issues. Has a whole lot in common with Taoism. The philosophy, not the silly religion part that believes it can predict the future or any of the living with nature hippiness.

Being alone is the best medicine. Other people are what annoy me. Sometimes I want to cuddle up in a cocoon of blankets in a dark room and think about how great it would be if I were the only person left on the planet. Just don't let the outside affect your inside. When your emotions are controlled by others, that's when you lose.

Musashi said, "Both in fighting and in everyday life you should be determined though calm. Meet the situation without tenseness yet not recklessly, your spirit settled yet unbiased. Even when your spirit is calm do not let your body relax, and when your body is relaxed do not let your spirit slacken. Do not let your spirit be influenced by your body, or your body be influenced by your spirit. Be neither insufficiently spirited nor over spirited. An elevated spirit is weak and a low spirit is weak. Do not let the enemy see your spirit."

Post sex is probably the most calm, serene time I've ever experienced, your mind clears right up. It's like the sun breaking the clouds after an almighty storm.

I am a deep music listener. Music is definitely a full mind escape. I watch YouTube (vlogs, podcasts, ect) going on a walk alone, cleaning is definitely an everyday stress reliever. I can get high anxiety, and I'm sure as others who suffer from that, it gives you a lot of energy, and I have practice exerting it in other ways. Dishes, organizing rooms. Music is more for sadness, depression, stress, it relaxes. I smoke, that is a good one, it is an immediate relief from panic and frustration. Having three kids can lead to high amounts of noise and bring pulled in 10 directions, literally. I want this, can we do this, mom, mom, mom, mom. One puff is enough to really be mellow without causing me to be lazy, tired or even truly high. Working out, as I said anxiety gives me energy, so anything body active is helpful. Eating, sadly eating my emotions is a bad habit. Crying. I am a pretty emotional person. I cry when sad, stressed, happy, shocked. If it's an extreme situation, I'm gonna cry. I've cried at commercials, Disney movies (dumbo), my kids saying I love you, feeling accomplished. Crying is a way I vent my emotions. Some get angry, draw, create, I cry Hahahaha and bake!

I didn't put sex because I like sex when I'm happy and feeling good. I go solo for the same reasons. Or purely when I'm just horny. I am a giver and I tend to give as a stress reliever for the other person, or as a reward. Haha it sounds bad, but if my other has done something thoughtful, selfless, worked hard, ect I like to show my appreciation. But I never take it away as a punishment. Sex, any sexual act is only positive.
