I'll tell you, I love it. I'm quite a happy boy right now!
What are your thoughts on it?

My thoughts are that I want to try it some day. Possibly once I've moved out.

Meh
If you do it, you do it, if you don't then, well... you don't
I've tried it, it was fun, but I'd only do it again socially, like drinking, to enhance the experience and have fun.
Seriously, should be legal everywhere though, it's so stupid to outlaw this shit.
Because I can...

I do not partake, but could not care less about other people's involvement.
I wouldn't argue it for a moment if weed was suddenly legal.
Alcohol is legal, and it is by far more damaging physically and socially than marijuana is.
You don't hear about guys getting stoned off their ass and beating their wife to death in a purple haze of rage.
Drunk people commit acts of violence every moment of every day somewhere in the world.
Smoking joints is about as bad for your lungs as smoking cigarettes, so there is that health issue there.
There are however, more than enough alternative ways to get THC from weed in to your system beside lighting it on fire and breathing it.
The only thing about it that I do not like is some of the people who smoke and are stony morons about it.
The guys who refuse to understand that I don't want a toke, and cannot grasp why I have zero interest in smoking with them.
Then proceed to lecture me on why smoking weed is a non-addictive, super fun way to unwind at the end of the day or bond with new people.
Don't tell me something isn't addictive when I have seen you miss rent payments in favour of restocking your weed box,
I understand that people like that are just assholes who happen to smoke weed, but they are still my least favourite part of the culture.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Negative. Similar to my opinion on those who partake.

Hmm. I see. All drugs are addictive, kind of why they're drugs. I would not let weed get in the way of responsibility, if I've got work to do I won't smoke anything until it's done and I know I can relax.
There are a lot of people who think it's bad because it's illegal, they're usually the typical "law abiding citizen" who believes everything they are taught by some authoritive organisation. If it's that bad, why is it being legalised all over the world? Alcohol, as you said, is far more damaging, especially if you take it without tobacco in a joint. I drink less now, since I started to smoking it, which was about 6 months ago.

Yes, I inject many of the marajewaynas. I'm very much down with the kids. I skateboard with the best of them.

I'm not a personal fan myself, but I don't care if people smoke as long as they do it responsibly. On a side note, pretty sure Texas is about to legalize it.

Irresponsibility comes down to the person really.
Lots of people drink without being stupid or excessive about it, same goes for smoking weed.

I quite enjoy the taste and smell of it and I'm happy to see it becoming legal.
I would never judge someone using it, that affects me not at all, how silly.

Tried it once last summer (it was something I'd always wanted to know about), maybe I didn't inhale enough of it but I didn't feel much of a difference, also maybe it was because it was around the "smoke weed e'vvyday" kind of people at the time and they're not really that pleasant to me haha. Honestly didn't care for it much. Don't think I'd do it again.
As for what other people do, I think we'd be better off legalizing and taxing it, less crime from people trying to get it, and the government gets another source of revenue.

People who indulge can be ostentatious about it and pretty much shove it down your throat and just continue to prattle on at length about their usage/how good it is/how only 'cool' people do it etc etc as if it were a popularity contest.
I imagine that's what he was referring to.
