Oh my various gods, this game is so motherfuckingly titty-puncingly frustrating. My first hour was just dying. Taking seven steps. Dying. I bought some armor. Dying. I bought Molotovs. Less dying. Hey, I can level up! Dying. Boss? Dying. Wait, another boss when I haven't beat the first? Dying. I'm level 14 now! Dying. My cleaver is +2 now! Dying. Grinding monsters I can kill easily. Unexpected dying? I can kill trolls with my wits and skill now! Unless I die. Fucking boneless birds? Nope, those guys haven't killed me yet. You ain't got no bones, bird! You're the laughingstock of the demon world. I hate everything. This game. My chicken sandwich. My rum. I hate every fucking demon, boneless bird, troll, different troll, midget troll, thudercat demon, giant church demon, preacher man demon, and paraplegic sniper in this game.

 

Anyone else pick it up? The doll is moe.

Is it out for the PC? If so I might put it on my to-get list.

Almost everybody I know who has the game has said the same thing, near enough. "The new gen is finally delivering on its promises." or words to that effect.

 

Personally, it looks like Dark Souls, so I can't imagine it's too hard. If I ever find myself in possession of a PS4, I might try it if it's cheap.

I know nothing about demon soul aside from hearing the same people made the game, so I have no clue as to how the game is related to anything else.

 

I started the game treating it like a hack and slash, but it's not devil mar cry or god of war, and I kept getting my assed kicked. After channeling my inner Musashi and treating battle like a dance, I've started kicking a hella lot of ass. Two bosses deep. The game's difficult, but I feel like I've seriously accomplished something when I beat a boss, which is something other games fail at.
