Are you going to route out the individual squares? Because that would be pretty awesome.

That or use a scroll saw to make a border type piece to fix to the top.
I will have a better idea when I actually start into it.

That'd be pretty awesome. As a fellow woodworker, I'd love to see the end result.

When it happens I shall share.

Are you a woodworker by trade, or is it a hobby.

Just a hobby. My dad and grandpa were both carpenters and general contractors, so I learned a lot growing up around them. Now I'm a computer tech.

Kind of went the other way on that one.
Though I went to school to be a cabinetmaker, and worked as one for a while, and now I am an embroiderer.

Yeah, I realized how creative I could be on a computer, with less manual labor.

You made the right choice methinks.
I have worked in a lot of different skilled (and unskilled) labour professions and almost every one of them turned out to be full of miserable dicks who just make everyone else around them miserable.

Plus you aren't likely to injure yourself working with computers, unless you are very unlucky or impressively creative with danger.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Yeah, about the worst I could do is cut my finger on a case.

Quiet, we don't need your input on this. :P
