It's all good. I'm not /too/ crazy a fan of the Kaiju skin. His regular skin already looks badass, and I'de rather have the Archangel skin when that goes on sale.

 

Which reminds me, the Hots loader had a thing that said "It's your last chance to get your Archangel Diablo skin and Tyrael Charger mount bundle", I immediately checked the shop and it was already gone

The archangel, imo, looks like if Tyrael got super depressed about Leah, ate his weight in fat cakes, and then was accidentally put in the dryer on high speeds which also resulted in him getting an extra chromosome.

Am I hitting the mark anywhere close with her?

I am not doing near as much player dps as I feel I should be doing, but I honestly wasn't pushing lanes too hard either. Most of that damage is minion and the spiders as far as I recall..

I'm hanging back more and waiting so I'm not just berserking anymore tho..

You're doing good, but as valla your goal is always to be highest hero damage. In lane, you've got 2 damage skills [with high costs tho] and high auto damage, so instead of pushing creeps i focus on getting the other person out of lane, especially if they're melee.

 

During the midgame when the teamfights start, you're gonna wanna roam a bit and hang out with at least one teammate most of the time, or at least be present for the important objectives. With another teammate around, you aren't such an obvious target. Valla's kit has only hero damage, the only utility she has is for her own positioning, so in a teamfight enemies definitely want you dead first, or else you're going to quickly poke down anyone you can reach.

 

Really tho, at the end of the day playing Valla is all about trying to land as many autoattacks as you can, safely and comfortably. Remember to use searing attacks if you see a good opening in a teamfight, or for that extra bit of dmg in a 1v1, and always be mindful of Vault's cooldown. Even tho it may not seem like much movement, it lets you get away with risky positioning AND gives you that extra little bit of pursuit you need.

I do try to get into the fights more with her than with other people and I do try to hang back more with her as well since she's so squishy.

I guess I just need to practice more so I get in a better mindset of how to hang back with her instead of going gung ho like I do with Sylv and Ty.

yeah the bots really dont like to teamfight, once they get low they like to fall back as a group, like no human players ever do

 

if you wanna practice teamfighting on vsAI, after lvl 10 just ping like 3 of the bots to follow you and start taking a base. the enemy bots will usually send about 3 or 4 people to defend and for some reason when defending their forts they're alot ballsier than normal

She is absolutely useless if the teammates game is not on point and AI's are terribad.

I'm trying out Mal right now and I already have 7 kills and we've broken through bottom lane.

I enjoy him much much more.
