I too was hoping for nips. That half time show was pretty bad though.

I genuinely thought Missy Elliot had died years ago.

No, I know who she was on there, she had her name on her hat. I mean, I had never heard of her before that moment.

Everything was so sparkly, I didn't notice.
You were probably still pokemaning when she was relevant.

Missy Elliot has been in quite a few movies also, surprised you've never heard of her. I guess I only know because she is from Virginia.

Looks like she's only been in 5 movies, none of which I've seen.

I was really sad at 4th Q: 0:06 seconds. But I kept watching, knowing ANYTHING can happen...

huh... weird. I guess it was a 90s thing, since I had access to cable TV from time to time over the years, i remember seeing her on TV shows, music videos, etc.
From wikipedia:
"In the late 1990s, Elliott expanded her career as a solo artist and rapper, eventually winning five Grammy Awards and selling over 30 million records in the United States.[1] Elliott is the only female rapper to have six albums certified platinum by the RIAA, including one double platinum for her 2002 album Under Construction.[2]
Elliott is also known for a series of hits and diverse music videos, including "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)", "Hot Boyz", "Get Ur Freak On", "Work It", and the Grammy award-winning video for "Lose Control."
I think "Work It" is the one she did during half time. I've never been a big fan of her music. Honestly the only artists she has worked with I ever liked was Busta Rhymes.
