Samsung Galaxy Alpha. I'm replacing the LG Optimus G which is basically the Nexus 4 with a SD card slot.

 

I'll be doing a comprehensive review, but first impressions are good. It's fast, very snappy on program loads. Screen is plenty readable in the sun, though still not quite as nice as the LG. This may be fixed through some auto dimming settings. It's very near the same size, which is why I got it. It's much thinner though, to the point that it's hard to hold. With a case it should be about perfect though.

Ah gotta have a case, even those ones they slip into.

Whenever I don't have the case on my phone I tend to drop it, but never drop it while the case is on.

 

I'm living out my phone plan with a Galaxy S3. I'll probably switch to the S5, or the Note Edge (if I can afford the plan) once the my current plan runs out later this year.
