Unfortunately, these things aren't free. You'll have to put in some money and effort to have a professional looking email address.

If you buy a domain through most hosts, you get at least one email with it. They're not free, but normally less than $10 a year.

You haven't seen much Lost Girl then. Total anti-hero business going on, but more hero as of late.

You can get a fairly professional free email address along the lines of 'blabla@mail.com
Hotmail is an e-mail address service designed for businesses. It's very good for that.

To be honest, if you're setting up a business but you don't have the cash to use a proper mail system with a personalised email...what are you doing making a company in the first place?
You might be an early tech company who founded itself with a product but needs to secure VC capital first to manufacture and distribute it.

Generally you need to be thinking about your overheads when you start up a company. Again, if you haven't even got $100 for a venture to buy necessities, you need to wait and save up. There's no half arsing business.

The expensive part, in America at least, is probably the paperwork and filing fees for a business license.

Yes, it is. $100 a year is still cheap for a business.
