Also Destiny.

Now, I haven't had a console since maybe 04, 05? Suggestions?

The Saints Row series.  The newest one comes out this week or next, even on the PS3 digitally via the PSN.

Prototype, inFamous, and probably GTA online.  The Uncharted series is also pretty good if you like "explore parkour" games.

If you like puzzle games you definitely need Catherine or if you like combat based you need Lollipop Chain Saw. Those games are amazing.

Excellent

Also, something Resident Evil-y.

The Saints Row series.

So good. I played them through steam but would be epic on console too. GTA IV and V are great on PS3/4.

I seem to enjoy RPG/action-adventure better on consoles.

Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, and/or AC Rogue. Many hours in front of the tele with those.

I love pirates, Black Flag made me happy.

The newest one lets you play as the Jesus Dalai Lama Christ of the series for the first time:  Johnny Gat, voiced by Jin from Lost.

Not much you couldn't already play on pc

You can play GTAV before it comes out on pc, and UMvC 3

Those are literally the only two exclusives I care about.

I have no idea what Little Big Planet consists of, but I remember thinking it looked neat when the PS3 came out.

I'm looking at some of the Final Fantasy games in the store, considering adding those to my collection.

I feel like I'm not going to get anything done. >.>

Just let me know what day you want to come over. I don't think I have to work friday, so I've got a pretty open schedule.

I got one and didn't go crazy with it.  I mucked around in Prototype for hours though.

Yes the Last of Us is a must! Also get PS Plus, it gives you a free game each month and most of them are pretty good

I like permanence in my owning of something.  And some games are GB hogs.

$50 a year, but any games you get for "free" brick themselves the second your subscription expires.

They come back if you resubscribe though. You also get discounts on stuff. I've been considering getting PS+ for a while now, but the disappointment comes from the fact you get two PS4 games a month, a PS3 game, and a Vita game. In other words, 50% of the free stuff is useless to me.

Yes, but it's not worth it unless you're a heavy gamer.  I'm a gamer, no doubt, but I'm not a heavy one.  Outside of the Yogscast annual Humble Bundle charity drive and Kickstarter/IndieGoGo, I buy so few new games a year.  And if you exclude new Zelda and Pokémon titles from that metric, it sinks to like one new game a year.
