I just downloaded it, they've got the option to take pictures and translate now. So far it's worked really well, but I think I need to find some books in different languages, and get with friends who can hand write things to really give it a try.

sounds like a good thing... I tried it with printed text it works quite well.. with handwritten not so much...

I had an app that would photo-translate, I forget what it was called, but it was terrible.

I was going to say "In it's defense, I can't read that handwriting either." And then I realized that it's not english.

Well, knowing that it's another language, no it's not.

Trying to make those words into english is a little different view though.

There are some English words in there ^^

 

edit: If I write really nicely it can read everything.
