Anyone else watch the first episode?
I feel like this is going to be a damn good show.

The beginning was suuuuper slow for me.
But by the end I was hooked.
This. First half was pure molasses, then after thirty minutes of talking, shit finally started happening. Saul himself is pretty entertaining.

I think they wanted to spend some time showing that he wasn't always the same person we knew from Breaking Bad.
That person just happened to be boring.

But even when establishing a time line or a backstory, some shows can captivate you within the first few minutes. This was a slow starter.

Whenever they did little flashbacks to establish certain characters in Breaking Bad it was always interesting.
Even when it was just Gale opening boxes and getting all nerd excited over chemistry apparatus, you feel involved in his child like glee.
Also, you keep wondering why they are putting so much focus on that green box cutter....

Finished episode two.
I don't know why Tuco is so fucking hilarious, but he is.

Oooh that intro <3
These cliffhangers at the episode's endings are so intelligent and good... It's just Vince's traits.
Gol, keep on going, it's totally worth for the last two seasons.
I wasn't expecting Tuco to appear so early, but it was great. Also, saw a post on facebook and rumor has it that Jesse may show up too (!!)

Didn't Jesse's friends use Saul as well? I'd expect to see them around at some point.

Badger and Skinny Pete definitely used Saul as their lawyer.
The two of them are like Shaggy and Scooby-Doo and every time they are in a room together I am laughing.
Badger constantly going on stony rants about Star Trek fan fiction or marketing pyramid plans, and skinny Pete calling him a moron right up to the end of his speech where Badger manages to convince Skinny Pete that he is a genius.

I think they will trickle them in gently.
Maybe have Saul mention some people from Breaking Bad but not actually have them show up.
Or have them sitting in the waiting room chatting up some random other person, or Saul is on the phone with them when someone else enters his office.
There are tonnes of ways to drop little gems that the fans of Breaking Bad will titter over.
