I hate doing this bit, never entirely sure what to say. So if you want to know anything just ask, it's a lot easier that way!

Hey! Welcome!
What do you like to do? Do you read, watch shows, play games? What's your favourite?

See now I can do this!
I read, prodigiously. Mostly fantasy, with enough "classic literature" to make my bookshelves look good and a smattering of chick lit that I keep hidden in my bedroom! I've never read much in the comic genre, I've read a fair amount of Neil Gaiman's Sandman though.
I've watched most classic sci fi shows over the years. Dr Who takes top spot, just marginally winning over Firefly. I'm currently in the market for a new tv show to binge watch having just caught up with Supernatural.
Never been into gaming much. I did used to play tabletop D&D with a group of friends where I used to live which I really enjoyed but I fell out of it when I moved some years ago.

Hi. What kind of fantasy books have you read so far, and which are your favourites? (Fantasy freak here, curiosity to be expected.)
A fairly wide variety. LoTR obviously but not the Hobbit, I don't know why! I've read some of Terry Brooks stuff and got a fair way through the Sword of Truth series before I started to tire of it, I do need to get back into that. Maria Snyder, Jennifer Fallon, Trudi Canavan. Currently re reading the Kushiel saga by Jacqueline Carey. Also I've recently been devouring all of Neil Gaiman's work (which doesn't always technically count as fantasy) and I'm going to start reading Discworld properly.
There's probably a lot more, I'm limited by what I can see of my bookshelves at the moment!
I like my fantasy either completely off the wall (so Terry Pratchett style) or with a fair amount of political intrigue (more like Jacqueline Carey.)

Gaiman's American Gods is amazingballs. Also try Good Omens. Those are my two favorite Gaiman works. Pratchett had a hand in them too.

Are you an adult woman and, if so, what color are your panties at this moment.

You miss a hundred percent of pitches you don't swing at, and every now and then, you get pegged by the ball and get on first base anyway.
I have literally just finished Good Omens! Got it for christmas

American Gods needs to be your next read. It is an amazing read. Great characters and a brilliant modernization of classic mythology.
Okay, guys. What other weird things do we need her to check? Nipple size? Pubic hair design? Come on! Accurate down to the millimeter. Down to the millimeter!

You should probably wait until they start throwing pitches first, instead of swinging a bat as soon as they enter the arena.
