Ev'r'body has an answer to this question, so what's yours?

Mine is Twilight Princess.  It's amazing.

My rankings for my top five Zeldas (for added context):

1)  Twilight Princess

2)  Ocarina of Time

3)  Skyward Sword

4)  Majora's Mask

5)  The Wind Waker

One of the old ones, I forget the title. I had it on Game Boy.

Literally the only Zelda game I didn't hate.

Link's Awakening. I didn't like the game as much as some of my favorite non-3D console and handheld Zeldas.  (That's my category to separate the 3D console Zeldas from all the other ones, sue me.)

The Minish Cap is my favorite of those.

I only finished OOT. Majora's Mask pissed me off due to the whole time limit thing, but I think as an adult I might fair a lot better. Twilight Princess seemed pretty good, but I never got any motivation to finish it.

I still have really special memories of OOT. I know people say it's overrated and cliche to pick, but I gotta go for it due to all the fond memories. And not so fond ones... Redeads gave me nightmares xD

Majora's Mask is getting a 3DS rerelease, so there's your chance.

Twilight Princess is delightfully dark and amazingly enjoyable to explore and kill those bosses.  (They may be easy, but beating them is damn fucking satisfying.)

Ocarina of time! Only one I've played. I found it challenging, not only with the mini games, but the patience running back and forth to complete the game 100%

There's beating the game and then there's completing the game.  OoT has one sidequest that isn't worth the reward, so I've never finished it (400 rupees for collecting the last 50 golden spider tokens, really?!?)  I beat the Nintendo Gallery in TWW just to say I did because the reward for doing so ended up being so painfully unfulfilling.

Making the reward worth it is what makes the best Zelda side quests.  The Biggorn Sword and the Hero's Charm side quests are by far the most utilitarian of the side quests.  The item is available early enough to be really damn useful and the item is also really damn useful.

Well, until they moved the Hero's Charm location to somewhere ridiculously hard to get to and late as all Hell in the game when TWW got an HD remake on the WiiU.  But, whatever.

Ocarina of Time was great for my childhood, I spent a lot of hours on Windwaker because that's all I had on cube, it was that or FIFA.

I dramatically increased my GameCube library when GameStop decided to stop selling GameCube games and thus had a massive sale on them.  Finally got Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

I used to hire games from the video shop (the good ol' days) and decide if they were worth buying.

Sales were the best, and second hand shops, and swapping games with friends.

Renting games fell out of style when Steam and digital sales entered the picture on the heels of Amazon.

I think physical copy rental shops have all closed down here, not sure.

Blockbuster turned down the purchase of Netflix years back. Now look at Netflix, and at Blockbuster.

I loved Ocarina of Time--I actually own an ocarina, though not the same as the one in the game, but I really love the art style in Windwaker, I remember when it just came out people were all against the cartoony look, and as they played, pretty much everyone fell in love with the art style and the huge, open world and the story. It's one of my favourites.

I'm excited for the new one coming out, even though I don't have a Wii U yet.

They sell licensed ones somewhere because of course they do.  The directions are liable to be in Japanese though, as the licensed product will probably be an import.

Same, but Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda.  Not my favorite, but my first.  You always like your first a lot.  Innuendo...

I know where I bought my ocarina, there's a bunch that are designed with Zelda fans in mind, but they're a bit more expensive. I'm not sure if they're licensed or not, but these are meant to be instruments and not collector's items so these probably have better quality than the actually licensed ones.

Looking at these makes me want to play again, but for such a small instrument it's very loud and I have nowhere to practice without bothering anyone haha.

As far as being a creative work that I enjoy:

1, Wind Waker: The 3D Zelda formula the best it's ever been. Aesthetic was amazingly crisp and new at release, and the game felt like the fullest Zelda game to date.

2. Majoras Mask: Definitely amazing for the time. A huge step forward from OoT in gameplay, storytelling, and combat.

3. Link's Awakening: Helped Nintendo show the world what the SNES could do, and created Zelda games as we know them.

4. Ocarina of Time: Their first attempt at 3D zelda, and even though it was kinda hamhanded, still made a game I'll remember forever.

5. The Legend of Zelda: For being a game that's /still/ more fun than Twilight Princess.

Worst zelda game would be a dogfight between Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and the CD-I games.

Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, I feel, were too afraid to leave their comfort zone. They were afraid to really add anything [to the formula, gameplay gimmicks don't count], so they felt like very dry, boring, "hit this to solve puzzle" type affairs. It feels like they developed those games based on a checklist.
