Ok, I'm not really an artist in the form of pen-to-paper, quite frankly I would be hard pressed to draw my way out of a wet paper bag. But give me graph paper and I can go to town! Plz don't ask--I really don't understand it myself...
And then there's the whole thing of working with fabric. I like to think I'm good at it:

I made my own tree skirt this year--i also made the pattern. It's not quite finished yet and I will update as I work on it.

That was the duck I roasted on the BBQ for Christmas and the cherry pie I made for thanksgiving dinner.
I also like to crochet & cross-stitch and will post more projects as I complete them or find pics of past projects I've done.

Awesome idea.

I guess if you have a sewing machine and some scrap fabric you can just use some youtube films to teach yourself the basics... i mean i'm no expert but I managed to sew a hat with teddy ears ^^ (though i have to admit I only got the size right in the second try, the first time was baby sized )
