I remember that as a "fun fact" because it's the last line of the song. Rhett and Link are two awesome dudes. I watch their Internet morning show, Good Mythical Morning, quite often.
They're Renaissance Men, they do a bit of everything. And the things they do well are Internet legion.
They made this commercial I'm sure you've seen:

Mercury is 5.43 g/cm3, Pluto is 2.03 g/cm3 so it's not that either.
I have a feeling it just happened to rhyme and they used bigger to mean "more important". This is why songs make bad academic references.
