I am working on a mac, and have been currently been experiencing some problems w/ Google Chrome.  As I was trying to update a Tumblr post, a window popped up saying "CONFIRM NAVIGATION: You have an unsaved post. Are you sure you want to leave this page?"

The following happened.

>After clicking both options, the window kept coming and would not close.

>I couldn't quit Chrome, close the page, add a new tab or open a new window.

>Chrome has been rendered absolutely useless.

>I have had to use Safari (Shudder)

PLEASE HELP!

Thank you.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome on your computer. If you install a fresh copy, it should be fine. Remember to export your bookmarks into an HTML file beforehand because I'm not sure if bookmarks are linked to your account.

Ive tried. It hasn't worked. I can't replace my current version if the window is still open (note that the bug wont let me close the window)

If you restart the computer, Chrome should be closed when it starts up again. Cmd+Opt+Escape will also force quit an application.

Aren't there any other Mac options? Is Firefox not available?
